How the 2022 Midterm Election Map is shaping up.
Its not to early to start detecting certain electoral tides, and there’s one indication that could be really bad for Democrats.

The 2020 Census published its findings on March 31, 2021, and it was not good for Democrats. Texas, Florida and North Carolina which are all iconic Republican states were all among the states that substantially gained congressional seats based on the population data from the U.S. census, and that indicates that more people are moving towards Republican states, however, other data indicates that the large wave down south to Red states could mean more Democrats are moving down ,and could give Democrats stronghold over southern states. The debacle on whether or not Republicans will in fact gain seats in either the House of Representatives or the Senate, rather than losing seats, is an ongoing discussion amongst analysts, but there is no doubt, that the following months will bring strong campaigning from both sides of the isle. But despite the Census’s reporting of great numbers for the Republican Party, the GOP may be in a dire situation. The Republican Party is wrongly conjoining itself with Trump, and its dangerous, for if Trump does not win, and if the Republican voters base, wishes to move on from him after the January 6th insurrection at the Capital, it wont be an option. Following Liz Cheney’s removal from her leadership role in the Republican House caucus, I said the following, “I love the Republican Party more than anything. They were the ones that gave me hope in this fading democracy. After all, in the past year, as the most basic of civil liberties were being dispelled with, in 2020, they defended it. Liz Cheney was an instrumental part of that. But now, just because of disagreements regarding the Former President, she was ousted from her leadership role. The Party is relying solely on Trump, and if he fails, our Party will come to an end. This is a dangerous direction for the GOP. This Party will collapse, if we dont maintain our values, and stop canceling people .” The point was not only significant for its surprising rebuke of Kevin McCarthy and the GOP leadership, but also for the insight for the electoral damage, isolating non-trump republicans will do to the Republican Party.
